The DJI Mic Mini is an ultracompact wireless microphone system built for creators who want clear, professional sound. It connects easily to your DSLR, mirrorless camera, smartphone, or laptop. Whether you’re vlogging, live streaming, or recording social media content, it delivers reliable audio at distances up to 400 meters (1312 ft).
Mount the small receiver on your camera or plug it directly into your phone using the USB-C port or a Lightning adapter. It’s a simple, portable setup for shooting anywhere.
Wired and Wireless Connectivity
The DJI Mic Mini supports both 2.4 GHz digital wireless and Bluetooth connections. You can link it to the DJI Mimo app on iOS or Android devices to adjust noise cancellation, audio limits, and other settings.
It also connects seamlessly with the Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Action 4, and Osmo Action 5 Pro. The receiver includes 3.5mm TRS and USB-C ports, giving you compatibility with a wide range of cameras and mobile devices.
When connected via USB-C, you can charge your phone and receiver simultaneously and instantly play back clips for review.
Wireless Drone Audio
The Mic Mini also pairs wirelessly with the DJI Neo drone through the DJI Fly app. Connect your phone via Bluetooth, open the app, and record crisp audio that syncs automatically with your footage. The app also removes propeller noise for cleaner sound.
Compact, Wearable Microphones
Each transmitter clips easily to your clothing for a completely wireless setup. You can also use magnetic attachments or a lanyard (sold separately).
At just 0.4 oz per transmitter, the Mic Mini stays light and discreet on camera. The built-in omnidirectional microphones capture voices clearly, even if the mic placement isn’t perfect. Two furry windscreens are included to cut down on wind noise during outdoor shoots.
Intuitive Controls
- Use the onboard transmitter controls to toggle between the two levels of noise cancelling.
- Basic level is ideal for quiet indoor settings, reducing noises from fans, air conditioning units, and other reverb noises while preserving vocals. Strong level is ideal for noisy environments and cuts ambient noise for clearer vocals.
- Enable automatic limiting to lower the volume of your audio input, preventing clipping and ensuring reliable audio quality. This eliminates the need to adjust settings on the fly.
- When all else fails, you can quickly adjust five levels of gain using the dial on the receiver unit.
- Safety track recording is available when you anticipate possible interference, recording a second track 6 dB lower to ensure you have usable audio in fluctuating environments.
Extended Battery Life
Built-in rechargeable batteries on each transmitter and receiver offer long operating times of 11.5 and 10.5 hours, respectively. Charge the units for just five minutes for an additional 1 hour of use when both are depleted. The included charging case can replenish the entire system 3.6 times for a total extended battery life of 48 hours. In the DJI Mimo app, you can toggle auto power off for the system, causing both devices to automatically shut down after 15 minutes if not connected, preserving your battery life.
