DJI Avata 2 FPV Drone (Drone Only)

Fly Freely with the DJI Avata 2 FPV Drone

The DJI Avata 2 FPV Drone offers a smooth and exciting way to experience first-person view flight. Whether you’re a beginner or a skilled pilot, this drone adapts to your needs. Moreover, it’s fast, compact, and designed to navigate low and tight spaces effortlessly. With new one-button stunt controls, you can execute flips, rolls, and drifts at the press of a button, making acrobatics more accessible than ever.

In addition, this updated version features improved image quality, longer transmission range, and enhanced safety measures. So, if you’re seeking creative freedom and cinematic-quality footage from the air, the Avata 2 is ready to deliver.

Professional Imaging of the DJI Avata 2 FPV Drone

Equipped with a 1/1.3″ image sensor, the Avata 2 excels in low-light conditions, supports still captures at up to 12MP, and records in up to 4K HDR resolution. Furthermore, you can choose between three different fields of view—normal, wide, and an ultra-immersive 155° ultrawide—to suit your specific needs.

For professionals, 10-bit D-Log M support retains more highlight and shadow details, giving you more flexibility during post-production, especially in color grading.

Stabilized Footage

Getting steady shots from an agile FPV drone can be a challenge. Therefore, DJI includes RockSteady and HorizonSteady stabilization features. RockSteady compensates for speed and wind, while HorizonSteady specifically locks onto the horizon during horizontal rotations of up to 360°, keeping your footage level and cinematic.

O4 Long-Range Transmission

Thanks to the DJI O4 transmission system, the Avata 2 delivers video feeds from distances up to 8.1 miles. Not only do you get resolutions up to 1080p/100 fps, but also a high bitrate of up to 60 Mb/s and ultra-low latency of just 24 ms.

To make this possible, the Avata 2 features a 2T4R (2-transmitter/4-receiver) setup with a 4-antenna array and strong anti-interference technology.

Safer Flying
Upgrading from the single downward sensor of the Avata, the Avata 2 now has binocular fisheye sensors for downward and backward visual positioning. Additional safety features include an integrated propeller guard and automatic return-to-home features that are triggered by a signal loss or low battery.
One-Button Acrobatics

Get creative with your aerial footage by using the Avata 2’s one-button acrobatic features to easily pull off complex stunts.

  • One-Button Flip: Perform 360° front or back flips
  • One-Button Roll: Perform 360° left or right rolls
  • One-Button Drift: Perform 180° lateral drifts past objects at high speeds, then swiftly pull away for an interesting effect
Works with LightCut
Officially supported by DJI for use with the Avata 2, the LightCut app for iOS and Android devices offers you convenient one-tap VFX without the need to download footage. AI-based technology analyzes the flight trajectory in the video and lets you use the Sky VFX feature to add overlays, through-the-air text animations, and more. In addition, the One-Tap Edit feature uses AI recognition of video type and theme to let you intelligently add sound effects, perform color restoration, and more, giving you professionally polished final cuts for faster sharing online.
Turtle Mode
If the Avata 2 happens to accidentally flip upside down, Turtle Mode can be used to automatically flip it back to takeoff position to quickly get it back in the air.
